Creating and managing core communication channels with a focus on working cross-functionally to contribute to the implementation of the business strategy.
Competency in media relations and communications matters, including buy-in and consensus building among all levels of the organization, including senior executives.
Counsel, write for, prepare presentations and work in close partnership with the CEO and Executive Teams.
Media Relations Expertise- well versed in media relation strategy, publications (local, trade, national, wires etc…) and relationships with reporters.
Content Knowledge- translating complex scientific, technological and engineer based information to understandable story lines.
Digital Competency approaching communications with the exploration of digital opportunities- optimization of Intranet tools within the organization and video element development to optimize related digital channels with information.
Presentation creation- ability to develop from the story- line through creation comprehensive presentations for the CEO to be used with stakeholders internally and externally
Crisis Management for any situation that is threatening or could threaten to harm people or property, seriously interrupt operations, damage reputation and/or negatively impact the bottom line.
